We are finding more and more people involved in the flight simulator business are realizing the importance of learning how to properly evaluate a FSTD. Evaluators, operators, manufacturers and military personnel that attend our course all go away with a much clearer understanding of the evaluation process, and with the practical skills to evaluate and qualify a FSTD to one or more of the many international standards currrently being applied. In addition, they learn about what is happening, and about to happen to those standards as the world moves towards a common set with ICAO 9625
Our course is JAA - Training approved and reccomended by a number of authorities world wide as a standard they wish to maintain for those people involved in FSTD evaluations.
To avoid disappointment, please make sure you confirm your place on any future course as soon as possible.
MORE REASONS TO ATTEND !!
The Notice of Proposed Amendment (NPA) issued by EASA deals with, amongst other issues, the qualification and approval of FSTD. During the course we shall discuss the NPA and this will be an excellent opportunity for all attendees to learn more about it.
JAR-FSTD (A) & (H) remains the standard being used until the EASA CRs are issued. Our course reflects these Regulations along with the latest version of the FAA's 14 CFR Part 60 The course also includes information about the revision to the ICAO Document 9625 (Manual of Criteria for the Qualification of Flight Simulation Training Devices). The Aeroplane recommendations ( Volume 1) of Doc 9625 has already been published by ICAO and is being reviewed by many Regulatory Authorities prior to them revising their National Regulations to reflect the changes proposed by ICAO. The Helicopter portion (Volume 2), scheduled to become available later in 2010, is also covered in the course. As information about the progress of EASA becomes available it. too, is introduced into our course.
Full details of the FSTD Evaluators course can be found on the Course page of this site.
